norinco 1897 clone shotgun
 

300 frn @ local big 5 here. chinese copy of winchester 1897 exposed hammer, 12 gauge, 5 plus one capy. i like the feature of loaded chamber with hammer down, cock hammer and fire. anyone with experience either the winchester or clone? thanks, mike in portland.

I have no personal experience with these shotguns, but I have read somewhere that the 6th. generation of the shotguns (S/N above 0306500) has desirable improvements over previous generations.

I'm debating buying the trenchgun model, but I already have a couple Remington 870s and find it hard to justify another (and different) shotgun.
